To be respectful means to respect everyone and everything around you, to not put down people, to follow directions as your told and to repect the material and the adults around you.
(TERRA C.) i think being respectfull means you ned to listen when people are talking to you, you need to be kind to people and respect who they are and it also means that you dont judge people or talk about them behind their back. Because if you want to be respected you have ti=o respect others...
A situtation in which I showed respect was when my teacher was giving directions and I didn't understand. So, I waited until she was done so I could ask her to please explain it more carefully to me. A different situation of when someone showed respect to me was when I let a kid borrow my pen and he returned it in perfect condition after he was done using it. A thing that I can do to gain respect at school and everywhere I go is to show that I deserve respect.
I showed respect by sitting in my seat in class on time quiet and raising my hand when i need to ask a question. Just the other day i was at blockbuster and a man opened the door for me. At home to gain more respect i can do my chores and get good grades. Among my friends i can talk more respectful about myself and others.
To me being repectful is when you always try to help out and show to your peers plus always pay attention in class and make sure nobody has naything to say negitive about you and you always have friends that respect you and never turn thier backs on you that to me is called respect.
Monique Gallegos:) -We'll there was one time when i had droped my stuff while i was in a hurry and the johanna picked it up and helped me carry it to the bus, for our soccer game. It was nice of her,
I help my friend with her homework. My friend helped me with my stuff. What I could do to gain more respectm is give respect And I will respect back.For example. Don't talk back to the teacher have manners.That is showing respect
I showed respect by saying please and thank you to others.Someone showed respect to me when i lend them a pencil and they said thank you.What i can do to gain more respect at home is to do everything that is asked of,at school i can give others my respect so they can give me respect back,and everywhere else i go i can get respect by helping people when they need it.
Ive been respectful in most of my classes this year. Ive raised my hand and waited to be called on. I didnt talk out of turn. Some one showed me respect by leting me talk and waiting untill i was finshed, for them to talk. I can help out the enviorment and around my house. I could be a lot more couteouse and Considerate to the people and the enviornemt around me.

(Terra) I disagree with your comment on how you have to show respect to get respect form others. What I do agree on is that to be respectful is to listen to others.
A situation when someone showed me respect was when I was walking through the hall and people were shoving and swearing and all and me and my sister were walking to class and we said excuse me to get by and no one would let us so we shoved by them and they all started swearing besides one girl she just said sorry and walked by.
I helped my freind fix his bike. and he offered to pay me and i said yes. i help around the house alot. and respect my elders. to show respect i dont argue with them. if they tell me i cant go somewhere. or i cant do something i want to do.

Im sure I've shown respect at some point this week but I honestly can't think of a specific time I did. People show me respect all the time. I don't know why they do but a lot of people do. To gain more respect everywhere would be hard because alot of places have different standards so you cant just gain respect everywhere by doing a few things. You'd have to act different in a lot of places but there are alot of places I don't want respect and alot of people that i don't care if they respect me.

ReplyDeleteIm sure I've shown respect at some point this week but I honestly can't think of a specific time I did. People show me respect all the time. I don't know why they do but a lot of people do. To gain more respect everywhere would be hard because alot of places have different standards so you cant just gain respect everywhere by doing a few things. You'd have to act different in a lot of places but there are alot of places I don't want respect and alot of people that i don't care if they respect me.
